Gisburn Forest…

What did we do on Saturday?…

A few of us headed over to Gisburn forest, 22k, and 2 and bit hours later of the badly kept secret, where I found out that my pedalling is massively inefficent, so the uphills were pretty hard for me making me look like a duck, but I’ll sort that out I think it’s my saddle position.  The downhills MORE than made up for it though.

This is the most fun run for me so far since I started riding.  I knew it was going to be tough, but it’s one hell of a lot of fun if you have the kahonas.

This is a video of the new black section that opened last year and although this isn’t us as we didn’t have a camera on us, it give you a taste of how much fun it was.  Note the drop at 1.20, this is where I nearly came off and into the ravine on the right, it caught me by suprise, but managed to save the bike as well as myself, lesson well and truely learnt.

We’ll definately be heading back here.  IF we can find it again.
